Earlier, a report had come that the company is reducing its production and will stop manufacturing it completely by the end of 2024. What is the reason for stopping production?
It is being said that people are not liking the lack of content on Vision Pro headset and its expensive price. This device comes for around Rs 3 lakh. The company is also worried about its high price and is preparing to launch its cheaper version this year.
Sales will not be affected
Some people with knowledge of the matter said that the company had reduced its production a few months ago. This means that the company has enough units in its inventory, which will not affect this year’s sales. This is not the first time that the company has had to stop production due to lack of demand. Earlier, the same thing had happened with iPhone 12 Mini also. Vision Pro production was slowed down in some factories in May itself.
Apple may launch Vision Pro this year
A few days ago there was a report that Apple may bring an affordable variant of Vision Pro. It will be launched under the name of Apple Vision and some features may be reduced in it. The price of Apple Vision will be kept affordable so that this device can be made available to more and more people. To keep it cheap, a lower quality display can be installed. Apple can provide LCD displays with glass-based OLED or LTPO backplane technology. These displays are known for providing great performance at low cost.
