According to Korean reporting platform Naver, the price of iPhone SE 4 could be $500 (approximately ₹42,700) or less. This information has come from a Japanese mobile company. This price matches the iPhone SE 4’s estimated price of $499.
Talking about the previous iPhone SE 3, it was launched in India in 2022 at a starting price of ₹43,900, while in the US it was priced at $429 (approximately ₹36,700). A similar difference can be seen for iPhone SE 4, and its price in India can go up to ₹ 49,900. According to reports, Apple may use its own in-house 5G modem in its iPhone SE 4 instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X70/75 modems. This can reduce production costs because Qualcomm will not have to pay license fees. However, this does not mean that Apple will pass these savings directly to customers. While deciding the price, along with production cost, market condition, profit margin and competition are also taken into account.
If the $500 price tag proves correct, the iPhone SE 4 could become an even more attractive option for budget-conscious buyers. But its exact price and features will be clear only at the time of launch.
iPhone SE 4: Possible features and specifications
iPhone SE 4, which is also being called iPhone 16e, can prove to be a big upgrade compared to its previous models.
