Apple: People in India have started liking Apple’s products more, many evidences of which have been seen in the year 2023. Apple will be the number one smartphone company in terms of revenue in India during 2023. Apple has sold more than 1 crore iPhone units in India for the first time, due to which their earnings have also been highest compared to other companies. Apart from this, another proof of the increasing popularity of Apple products in India is that apart from smartphones, Apple has also made many records in the tablet and PC market in 2023.
Number-1 Apple in 2023
According to a report, despite the decline in its shipments, Apple has been a leading company in India’s tablet and PC market with 25% share in the year 2023 as well as in the December quarter.
Cyber Media Research presented a report on Monday according to which Apple will remain number-1 in India’s PC and tablet market in 2023 with 25% share. At the same time, Samsung’s company remained at number-2 with 23% share.
Lenovo is also included in this list
Apple tablet and Apple PC shipments declined 17% on a year-over-year basis. Lenovo took second place with 24% market share in the December quarter, while its shipments declined by 3%. Samsung tablet PC shipments grew by 36% on a year-on-year basis, the report said happened.
Talking about this report, Maneka Kumari, Analyst, Industry Intelligence Group, Cyber Media Research, said that the demand for different tablets is increasing in India. These include 5G, premium and value for money tablets. Now it remains to be seen what happens in 2024. The continuously increasing demand for Apple products by Indian users is an alarm bell for other Android companies.
