But in this series, Apple has launched a new feature for children in India. The name of the feature is ‘Apple Watch For Your Kids’. This feature will be available in Apple Watch, where parents can set the watch and make the child wear it. Whether the child has his own iPhone or not. It will work just like Apple Watch does.
How will this feature work
After setting up this new feature in Apple Watch, children will be able to enjoy all the services that adults enjoy, such as children will be able to make calls, send messages. Apart from this, they will also be able to talk to iPhone’s famous voice assistant Siri. They will also be able to use the emergency SOS service.
Parents will connect the iWatch to their iPhone. The watch will definitely be with the child but the parents will have full control over it. Everything from contacts to content on the watch can be managed. The most important thing is that the watch will keep sharing the location of their children with the parents. In this, the child will get his Apple ID and phone number.
To ensure that children are not disturbed in school, a “Schooltime” mode has been provided in it. This mode is set automatically or by the parents. This mode restricts access to other apps and activates Do Not Disturb. So if a yellow circle is visible in the watch, then understand that the “Schooltime” mode is active.
This feature also provides health and fitness services for children so that they stay fit. Options like outdoor walking, running and cycling workouts are given in it.
Which Apple devices will this feature work on?
The Apple Watch For Your Kids feature will work on the Apple Watch Series 4 or Apple Watch SE. Apart from this, the model should have watchOS 7 and ios 14 or later. A cellular plan is also required for this, which is available with Jio.
