Big ban on cyber fraud transactions
Apple said that it has saved billions of rupees by stopping dangerous cyber fraud transactions between 2020 and 2023. It claims to save 1.8 billion US dollars in 2023 alone. 14 million stolen credit cards blocked
The company said that it has blocked 14 million stolen credit cards and has frozen 3.3 million accounts that were using these cards. Apart from this, the company has also stopped shopping using 3.5 million stolen credit cards in the year 2023. During this period, it has banned 1.1 million such accounts which were trying to make purchases secretly.
The incidents of fraud reduced due to the rules of Apple Store
Apple said in its report that due to the rules of Apple Store, the incidents of fraud with the users are decreasing. In the report, the company said that in the year 2023, it has terminated about 374 million developers and customer accounts. Due to the problem of fraud, enrollment of about 91 thousand developers has also been rejected. The company had blocked more than 1 lakh 18 thousand accounts in the year 2023, so that they could not develop fraud apps.
