Apple Stores Sales Report: Apple CEO Tim Cook has inaugurated the first Apple Stores in India, Apple BKC and Apple Saket. According to a media report, these two stores have registered monthly sales of Rs 44-50 crores. While the company is paying a monthly rent of Rs 40 lakh and Rs 42 lakh for its Delhi store.

Industry experts have revealed that this figure is more than double the revenue of any electronics store in India during festive season like Diwali. With this number, Apple Store has become the largest electronics retailer in India in terms of revenue.

Media reports suggest that Apple BKC registered a sale of Rs 10 crore on the very first day of its launch. Whereas a month’s sale of a big electronics store is around Rs 7-8 crores.

According to media reports, even though the size of Apple Saket is around 8,500 square feet, its revenue per square foot is much better than other stores in Mumbai with 22,000 square feet. Despite being smaller, both the Apple Stores have registered almost similar monthly sales. More than 6,000 people had visited these two stores on the very first day itself.
