Apple opened two retail stores in India last year. These stores were opened in BKC Mumbai and Saket Delhi. Now Apple is going to open four new stores in India. Emphasis on increasing manufacturing in India

Foxconn has been assembling iPhones in India for many years. At the same time, Pegatron Corporation and Tata Electronics have also started assembly of Apple’s iPhone. At present Foxconn is the largest supplier of iPhone in India. At the same time, Tata Group’s electronics manufacturing unit has exported iPhones worth $1.7 billion to Karnataka from April to September.
