APSC CEE Registration: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will soon start the application process for Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination. Candidates who are eligible and willing to apply for this exam will be able to apply on December 26 from 12.00 noon. To apply, candidates have to visit the official website apsc.nic.in. The last date to apply for this exam is 26 January till 5 pm.
This recruitment drive will be conducted for the recruitment of 793 posts. For which the applying candidate must be a graduate from any recognized university/educational institution. Apart from this, the age of the applying candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years.
How will be the selection
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) and Main Examination (Written & Interview). Candidates who get success in the prelims exam will get a chance to appear in the main exam.
Application fee will have to be paid
It is necessary for the applying candidates to pay the application fee. General / EWS category applicants will have to pay a fee of Rs 250. While a fee of Rs 150 has been fixed for SC / ST / OBC / MOBC category candidates. Whereas, candidates belonging to BPL/PWBD category are exempted from payment of fee.
Where will the exam centers be made
Exam centers for this exam are Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Barpeta, Biswanath Chariali, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Majuli, Diphu, Goalpara, Golaghat, Haflong, Hamren, Bongaigaon, Hatsingimari, Hojai, Jorhat, Kajalgaon, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Mangaldoi, Morigaon, Mushalpur , Nalbari, Nagaon, North Lakhimpur, Silchar, Sivasagar, Sonari, Tezpur, Tinsukia and Udalguri will be built. While the main exam will be held in Guwahati. Admit cards will be issued a few days before the exam for the candidates who apply. Without admit card will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
