A new study conducted recently says that people who stay up late at night have a 46 percent higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes than others. This study, conducted in the Netherlands, included five thousand overweight people.

These people were divided into three groups. First, those who wake up early (early chronotype), second, those who wake up at the average time (middle chronotype) and third, those who wake up late (late chronotype). People with late chronotype have an increased risk of getting type 2 diabetes as compared to those with middle chronotype.
