Assam Rifles is responsible for the borders with Myanmar, while SSB i.e. Sashastra Seema Bal is deployed on the Nepal and Bhutan borders. Assam Rifles is led by the Lieutenant General of the Army. While BSF, ITBP and SSB are led by senior IPS officers.
