Article 370 vs Crack: ‘Article 370’ is maintaining its dominance in theatres. The film was released in theaters on 23rd February with Vidyut Jammwal ‘Krack’ and even after the clash, Yami Gautam’s ‘Article 370’ is making a splash on the screen. Whereas Vidyut Jammwal’s film had made decent collections in the initial days, but now it is doing slow business at the box office.
According to the report of Sacknilk, ‘Article 370’ had an opening of Rs 5.9 crore on the first day. The film earned Rs 7.4 crore on the second day and did a business of Rs 9.6 crore on the third day. Even after the fourth day being a working day, ‘Article 370’ had earned Rs 3.25 crore. Now the preliminary figures of the fifth day have also come out, according to which the film has collected Rs 1.73 crore so far.
‘Crack’ collection
If we look at the business of ‘Krack’, the film did a business of Rs 4.25 crore on the first day. The film earned Rs 2.15 crore on the second day, Rs 2.3 crore on the third day and only Rs 1 crore on the fourth day. Even on the fifth day, the film’s business seems to be stalling further because according to reports, ‘Krack’ has earned only Rs 62 lakh so far.
“Article 370” got rid of “crack” sixes!
While ‘Article 370’ is an action drama film, ‘Crack’ is a sports-drama. Despite the simultaneous release of both the films, ‘Krack’ has lagged far behind Yami Gautam’s ‘Article 370’ in terms of collections. While ‘Article 370’ has collected a total of Rs 27.88 crore in five days, ‘Krack’ has been able to earn only Rs 10.32 crore. That means ‘Article 370’ has earned almost three times as much as ‘Crack’. Worldwide too, the influence of ‘Article 370’ continues and the film is doing very good business.
