Expansion
BJP believes that the way Arvind Kejriwal is repeatedly not appearing before the Enforcement Directorate and expressing fear of his arrest in front of the media, it is his attempt to play the victim card. Its objective is to gain people’s sympathy amid the Lok Sabha elections. But BJP has decided that it will not allow Aam Aadmi Party to play this victim card. In the top meeting of Delhi BJP leaders on Thursday morning, it has been decided that the party will tell the truth to the public by running an expose campaign against Kejriwal. BJP will try to tell the public how Arvind Kejriwal is insulting constitutional institutions by not appearing before the investigating agency Enforcement Directorate.
This meeting of top BJP leaders took place on Thursday morning. This meeting took place after the tweet by Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Atishi Marlena, in which she had expressed apprehension that the Enforcement Directorate may raid Arvind Kejriwal’s house on Thursday morning and arrest him thereafter. After this, the agency officials had made it clear that there is no plan to raid Kejriwal’s house on January 4. Just after this, BJP held a meeting and made a plan to deal with Kejriwal’s politics.
Kejriwal’s Gujarat tour
Amidst this turmoil, Arvind Kejriwal has planned to visit Gujarat for three days. This visit may be important in view of the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections. BJP has become alert due to this. He believes that this Gujarat tour of Kejriwal is being done in view of the same politics. Kejriwal himself has said that this investigation is being done to stop him from campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal’s attack on BJP may intensify in the coming times.
