Arvind Kejriwal CBI Remand Aap Claim judge told CBI lawyer that you are lying

Arvind Kejriwal CBI Remand: Rouse Avenue Court has sent Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to three-day CBI remand. He will have to appear again before 7 pm on June 29. CBI had sought five-day remand of Arvind Kejriwal. Meanwhile, in ABP News’ special program ‘Sidha Sawaal’, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) spokesperson claimed that the judge told the CBI lawyer that you are lying.

The AAP leader mentioned the debate that took place inside the court

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Jasmine Shah mentioned the debate inside the court during the program. During this, she said, “The hearing took place throughout the day today and many arguments were given by both the sides. When the CBI said in the open court that Arvind Kejriwal has washed his hands of the case and has put all the blame on Manish Sisodia.”

‘The judge told the CBI lawyer that you are lying’

Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson further said, “After this Arvind Kejriwal immediately stood up and said that this is a completely fake statement. I am innocent, Manish Sisodia is innocent, the entire Aam Aadmi Party is innocent and tell me when did I say this in my statement. After this the judge himself read out Kejriwal’s statement and told the CBI lawyer that you are lying. Kejriwal never said this.”

Arvind Kejriwal claimed that the CBI was sensationalising the issue. The CBI questioned Kejriwal in Tihar Jail on Tuesday (25 June). After the CBI arrested Kejriwal, his wife Sunita Kejriwal alleged that the entire system was trying to ensure that her husband does not come out of jail.

What did Delhi CM say in the court?

According to news agency PTI, Arvind Kejriwal told the court, “It is being circulated in the media through CBI sources that in one of my statements, all the blame has been put on (former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister) Manish Sisodia. I have not made any such statement that Sisodia or anyone else is guilty.”

He said, “Their (CBI) whole plan is to defame us in the media. Please put it on record that all this is being circulated in the media through CBI sources. This should be clarified. This will be in the headlines in all the newspapers. Their aim is to sensationalise the case.”

On this, CBI lawyer DP Singh said that no source has said anything like this. The lawyer said, “I have argued in the court. No source has said anything and I have presented my argument on the basis of facts.” However, the judge said that the media catches hold of any one thing. He said, “It is very difficult to control the media in this way.”
