Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal held a press conference on Sunday. During this time he has made a big announcement regarding Delhi Assembly elections. Arvind Kejriwal said that he will contest the assembly elections alone in Delhi. Will not form alliance with any party.

After Haryana elections, many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party had said that AAP will not have an alliance with Congress in Delhi. Have tried forming an alliance with AAP in the Lok Sabha elections. There was no benefit from the alliance with Congress in the Lok Sabha. After this, an alliance could not be formed due to the dispute over seats in Haryana. Indications that the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the elections alone in Delhi were visible during the Haryana elections itself, when the matter between Congress and AAP regarding seats was stuck.

During the Lok Sabha elections, AAP and Congress had contested in alliance in Delhi and Haryana. BJP had then won seven seats in Delhi. AAP was not able to open its account in Delhi as well as in Haryana. Now regarding the assembly elections, AAP has made it clear that it will contest the elections alone. In such a situation, a triangular contest is possible in Delhi.
