Meanwhile, the stall of Asafoetida Peda has become the lifeline of exhibition and tourists. The taste is such that everyone comes to taste it, if not to buy it. Due to the way the heat has started increasing after the cold season in February itself, the demand for this Asafoetida tree is increasing significantly.
While talking to Local 18, Yogesh Aggarwal, who has a stall of Asafoetida Peda or Asafoetida Goli, says that he has been coming to set up shop in Aligarh Exhibition for the last 35 years. Because now people take care of their health along with tests. Therefore, while making Asafoetida Peda, special care is taken to ensure that it is not only tasty but also helpful for the stomach. Asafoetida, celery, black pepper and sweet are important for making it, which makes this Asafoetida Peda more beneficial and tasty. Yogesh says that despite being priced at Rs 500 per kg, there is a lot of demand for it in the exhibition.
Come to Aligarh exhibition every year
Mohammad Uwais, who reached the exhibition, said, ‘I am a resident of Aligarh and come to Aligarh exhibition every year. The main reason for coming here is the Asafoetida Peda available here, which is not only delicious but also very healthy. He said that apart from Mathura, this Asafoetida Peda is available in Aligarh, which remains the first choice of many people.
