Asian Games 2023: On the third day of the Asian Games being played in China, India created history in horse riding and won the gold medal after 41 years. Tuesday was also a very good day for India in sailing and India got one silver and one bronze medal in this event. Neha Thakur won the silver medal in sailing, while Ibad Ali won the bronze medal for India. So far, India has won a total of 14 medals including three gold medals and remains at sixth position in the medal table. Host China is at the first position in the medal table by securing a total of 85 medals including 47 gold.

Hockey India’s excellent performance continued on Tuesday also. India defeated Singapore by 1-16. This is India’s second consecutive win in the group stage. Not only this, India has performed amazingly and scored 32 goals in two matches.
Tennis India also got success in three events. The Hong Kong player was easily defeated by India’s Ankita Raina in the round of 16 match of the singles event. However, Sumit Nagal had to face difficulties in men’s singles. But Sumit Nagal was successful in defeating the Kazakhstan player in the round of 16. The pair of Yuki and Ankita won the ticket for the next round by defeating the Pakistani pair in the mixed doubles event.
Squash India got success. The men’s team defeated Qatar 3-0. Indian women’s team also got the ticket for the next round of squash. Indian women’s team defeated Pakistan 3-0.
boxing India continued to be successful on the third day. Sachin Siwach defeated Asari of Indonesia in the 57 kg event and got the ticket for pre-quarterfinals. India’s Narendra Berwal got success in 92 kg event. Narendra defeated Ilchoro of Kyrgyzstan and secured his place in the quarter-finals.
Disappointment in these events
Tuesday was not a good day for India in volleyball, judo, fencing and shooting. Pakistan defeated India 0-3 in volleyball. India’s medal hopes in Judo were disappointed by Tulika Maan who was easily defeated by the Mongolian player. In fencing, Bhavani Devi was defeated by Shao Yaqi of China and her journey in the Asian Games ended. In shooting, Divyansh Panwar Ramita stood fourth in 10 meter air rifle mixed event.
India got 5 medals on Monday
If we talk about Monday, India was successful in winning the first gold medal in the Asian Games. India had won the gold medal in the 10 meter men’s rifle team event. The Indian women’s cricket team also won the gold medal by defeating Sri Lanka. On Monday, the men’s team won bronze in the rowing event rowing-four and quadruple. On Monday, Indian shooter Aishwarya Pratap Singh, apart from the 10 meter shooting event, the 25 meter rapid fire pistol team also won two bronze medals.
