Asian Games 2023: India won a total of 8 medals on the fourth day of the 19th Asian Games being held in Hangzhou, China, taking the total number of medals to 22. The 8 medals won by India include 2 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals. Earlier, India had won 14 medals in the first 3 days of play. On the fourth day, India got the maximum number of medals in shooting, which also included gold medal. India has so far won 5 gold, 7 silver and 10 bronze medals. Whereas China is at the first position in terms of winning medals in the Asian Games, which has so far won a total of 140 medals, which includes 76 gold medals.
Shooting India started the day by winning medals in which Sift Kaur Samra, Manini Kaushik and Ashi Choksi won the silver medal in the 50 meter rifle event. After this, India’s team of Manu Bhaker, Isha Singh and Rhythm Sangwan won the gold medal in the 25 meter pistol team event. India’s Sift Kaur won the gold medal in the 50 meter rifle event.
India’s Angad Veer Singh Bajwa, Anantjit Singh and Gurjot Singh won the bronze medal in the skeet shooting men’s team event. Isha Singh was successful in winning the silver medal in the women’s 25 meter air pistol event. Anantjit Singh won the silver medal in the skeet men’s individual event.
