The Election Commission has announced the dates for by-elections on 13 assembly seats in 7 states including Bihar, Bengal, MP. Voting for by-elections on 13 seats will be held on July 10.
On July 10, voting will be held on 1 seat in Bihar, 4 in Bengal, 1 in Tamil Nadu, 1 in Madhya Pradesh, 2 in Uttarakhand, 1 in Punjab, 3 in Himachal. According to the Election Commission, notification for these seats will be issued on June 14. The last date for nomination will be June 21. Scrutiny of nominations will be done on June 24. The last date for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed as June 26. Voting will be held on July 10. Results will be declared on July 13.

NDA got victory in Lok Sabha elections

However, this is the first time since 2014 that the BJP has not achieved a majority alone in this election. The party has got 240 seats. At the same time, the NDA has won 293 seats.
