Ateeq : Surrendered whenever and wherever he wanted

Many questions are now being raised regarding the failure of the police to catch the five prize shooters in the Umesh Pal murder case. The biggest question is whether Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad will also not come in the hands of the police? In fact, till now the police have not been able to arrest any member of Atiq’s family. From Atiq to his sons, whenever they wanted, they surrendered in the court as per their own wish.

After being on the run for almost a year, Atiq Ahmed was dramatically arrested in Delhi. However, the buzz was that Atiq himself surrendered to the police.

In 2016, Atiq was not arrested even in the case of breaking into Shuats. While earlier he was out on bail and had continuously violated the conditions of bail by committing criminal incidents. In 2017, Atiq himself surrendered after reaching Naini police station.

Before Asad and Atiq’s elder son Umar, wanted in the Umesh Pal murder case, the biggest reward in his clan was his brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf. A reward of one lakh was also announced on him.
