Postmortem of Atiq-Ashraf’s dead body begins
The post mortem of Atiq Ahmed and Ashraf has started. The bodies of both will be handed over to Atiq’s brother-in-law and his cousin. On the other hand, the DGP has reached the CM House with the report of the murder.

Deployment of forces in the entire area
After the murder of Atiq and Ashraf, there is silence in his locality Kasari Masari and surrounding areas. In a while, police vehicles are circling with loud sirens. Force has been deployed in the entire area. Presently the situation is under control. Additional force has been deployed in Muslim dominated areas like Kareli, Khuldabad, Atala, Chowk, Nakhas Kohna, Dhoomanganj, Chakia, Rajrooppur etc.

Atiq and Ashraf will be buried today
The dead bodies of Mafia Atiq and Ashraf will be buried today in the cemetery located at Chakia Kasari Masari. Both the bodies have been kept in the post mortem house of Swarooprani Nehru Hospital. It is being told that both will be buried today itself, preparations are being made for this. The body of Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad Ahmed was buried on Saturday itself. Asad’s encounter was done in Jhansi on 13th April. His last rites were performed on April 15 at the cemetery at Chakia Kasari Masari, the ancestral home of Atiq Ahmed.

If there is a murder among the police then it is a serious matter – Sanjay Raut
On the murder of Atiq and Ashraf, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that it is a state subject. The murder happened, Section 144 was imposed, the government there did it and they are capable of doing it, it is their matter but if the murder happened in broad daylight among the police then it is a serious matter. This raises a big question on law and order.

FIR registered in Atiq and Ashraf murder case
Police has registered an FIR in the Atiq and Ashraf murder case. The police have registered an FIR against the three accused under sections 302, 307. FIR has been registered under sections 3,7, 25, 27 of the Arms Act. Police is engaged in questioning the accused who killed Atiq and Ashraf. The accused have given many shocking information to the police. The accused say that we wanted to eliminate the Atiq gang. We want to earn our name in the state. We had come as journalists to kill both of them. We could not get away with killing.

We demand that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh resign – Owaisi
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that the responsibility of the murder that took place yesterday lies with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. If constitutional morality is alive in him then he will have to leave his post…. We demand that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh should resign, the Supreme Court should appoint an investigation team and take suo moto cognizance of the matter, otherwise it will continue. According to the constitution, all those policemen should be removed from their service.

A committee should be formed under the supervision of the Supreme Court – Owaisi
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that a committee should be formed under the supervision of the Supreme Court. I request the Supreme Court to take suo motu cognizance of this and there should be a time-bound inquiry. There should not be any officer of Uttar Pradesh in this committee because this murder took place in their presence. Why are you raising religious slogans by shooting? If they are not called terrorists, will they be called patriots? Will it (BJP) garland you with flowers? Those who were celebrating the encounter, you people should die of shame.

BJP government in UP is not running according to the law but on the basis of gun – Owaisi
On the murder of Atiq and Ashraf Ahmed, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said that I was saying from the beginning that the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh is not running according to law but on gun power. 14 to 15 cases filed against Sunny
Pintu Singh, brother of Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur shooter Sunny Singh, who shot gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf, said it used to do nothing and has already had cases registered against it. We were 3 brothers out of which one died. He used to roam around like this and used to do useless things. We live apart from him and he ran away in childhood. There are 14 to 15 cases registered against Sunny.

Peace should be maintained in the state – CM Yogi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the officers to be vigilant in the field. It has also been asked to take care that the general public does not face any kind of trouble. He has said that peace and order should be maintained in the state. Chief Minister Yogi has appealed to the public not to pay attention to any rumour. Strict action will be taken against those spreading rumours.

Atiq and Ashraf will be buried today itself
Security has been tightened by the police after the murder of Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj. Section-144 of CrPC has been implemented in all the districts of the state. According to information received from sources, Atiq and Ashraf will be buried today itself. Both will be buried at the Kasari Masari cemetery.
