An attempt was made to attack the car of the son of builder late Dharmendra Chaudhary on the afternoon of 22 January in the Civil Lines area of Aligarh metropolis. Youths riding unnumbered bikes chased his Scorpio and broke the rear glass. Police swung into action on information about the incident that took place in Civil Lines area and have started investigation. CCTV etc. are being watched.
A complaint in this regard has been lodged in the police station on behalf of Sangeeta Chaudhary, wife of late Dharmendra Chaudhary of Ramghat Road, Gulzar Nagar. It is told that she had gone to Diwani for some work. His son Deepak and nephew Danveer were coming to pick him up in the afternoon in their Scorpio car. Then, near the Habitat Centre, youths riding on two bikes without number plates chased them and tried to stop them. All the accused had their mouths tied. Seeing this the son got scared and ran the car. He was attacked from behind and broke the glass.
After this the son ran to his mother. Told the whole incident. Later the mother informed the police. Then the police came to the spot. Let us tell you that Dharmendra Chaudhary has been murdered and all the accused have been acquitted in the case. Now why and who did this incident is a matter of investigation. Inspector Civil Lines Rajeev Kumar says that prima facie the incident seems to be related to an accident. Still the investigation is going on. CCTV etc. are being watched.
