On January 4, an attempt was made by some people to spoil the atmosphere by putting up controversial posters on the road in the Muslim dominated area of Rorawar police station area of Aligarh city. The police immediately got these posters removed.

The poster was put up outside a confectionery shop in Telipada market of the area. On which it was written, Believers, wake up now, Believers, take the deal of Fatiha from your brothers’ shop. When the video of this poster went viral on social media, the matter reached the police and investigation was done. It was revealed that the shopkeeper himself had put up the poster. After this he was removed. He was also given strict instructions not to repeat such a thing in future.
CO First Mayank Pathak said that an attempt was made to spoil the communal atmosphere by putting posters on the road. The poster has been removed from the shop. No complaint has been received yet in this matter. If a complaint comes from any party, a case will be registered.
