Pakistan Coach Jason Gillespie Resignation: Australian legend Jason Gillespie has resigned from the post of coach of Pakistan’s Test team just a few days ago. Well, meanwhile, Jason Gillespie has exposed the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). His first statement after resigning from the post of coach has come out.
Jason Gillespie clearly says that the PCB did not want him to remain on the post of coach. He cited lack of discussion on team topics and the dismissal of high-performance coach Tim Nielsen as the reasons for his resignation. The Australian legend said that no efforts were being made to establish contact with him within the PCB, while after the incidents that took place within Pakistan cricket in the last months, Gillespie ultimately thought it best to submit his resignation.
Why did you get angry?
Jason Gillespie’s biggest displeasure was that there was a positive response from the PCB for him and Tim Nielsen too. It seemed as if everything was moving in the right direction, Gillespie even had a good rapport with Test captain Shan Masood. Under him, the Pakistan team had defeated England 2-1 in the home Test series this year. Despite all this, he was not being contacted.
Let us tell you that Jason Gillespie had taken over the charge of being the Test coach of Pakistan in April this year. Under him, Pakistan had to become the victim of a 0-2 clean sweep in the home series against Bangladesh for the first time.
