The month of June has started with double good news for the people. On the first day of the month, the prices of many things have come down. First of all, the third consecutive reduction was made in the case of LPG cylinders. Now the price of aviation fuel has also been reduced. This reduction is also quite huge.

The price has become so cheap from today

According to the information given by the government oil and gas companies, from today, June 1, there has been a huge reduction of Rs 6,673.87 per kiloliter in the prices of aviation fuel i.e. ATF. According to the information available on the website of Indian Oil, from today, ATF has become cheaper in Delhi and is Rs 94,969.01 per kiloliter. Earlier on May 1, the rates of ATF were increased by Rs 749.25 per kiloliter. After that ATF became expensive in Delhi and became Rs 1,01,642.88 per kiloliter.

Aviation fuel prices in other cities

The price of aviation fuel has also come down in other cities. After the latest change, ATF has become cheaper in Mumbai and has come down to Rs 88,834.27 per kilolitre. If we look at the four metros, the benefit of the cheapest aviation fuel is currently available in Mumbai only. Similarly, ATF rates have come down to Rs 1,03,715 per kilolitre in Kolkata. This is the highest price of ATF in all four metros. At the same time, ATF has become cheaper in Chennai and has come down to Rs 98,557.14 per kilolitre. According to the information given by the oil companies, the new rates have become effective from today itself.

Airfares may come down

Government oil marketing companies review the price of aviation fuel at the beginning of every month. Companies decide to cut or increase the price of aviation fuel i.e. ATF according to the fluctuations in the market. Earlier, on the first of last month, there was a slight increase in the price of ATF. At the same time, government companies had reduced the price of ATF in the month of April. The biggest expenditure of aviation companies is on fuel. The change in ATF rates has a direct impact on aviation fares. After the bumper reduction from today, aviation fares may come down in the coming days.
