Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Government of India provides free treatment facilities to the citizens. People can avail free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh every year by going to private hospitals. If you want to know what is the limit of your Ayushman card, then you will have to go to the hospital covered under the scheme. You will have to go to the Ayushman help desk in the hospital. You can find out about the limit of your card by showing your card to the officer present there. We are talking about free treatment, but do you know in which ward or room of the hospital the Ayushman beneficiaries are admitted?
In which ward is the recruitment done?
Under the Ayushman scheme, the government covers health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh and more than 250 diseases are treated under this scheme. Which also includes cancer and heart related diseases. Under this scheme, if you are admitted to the hospital, you will be given the same facilities which are given to non-Ayushman holders. In which ward you will be admitted depends on your illness. If you are suffering from heart disease then you will be admitted to its common ward. However, there is a separate counter for making slips for Ayushman card holders. Usually such patients are admitted to the general ward only.
Facilities for pregnant and lactating women
Ayushman wards have been created for delivery women in many cities of UP including Firozabad and Ghaziabad. In which these women are also provided facilities like private ward. Private rooms are also being provided to delivery women in the Hundred Bed District Hospital of Firozabad. Under this scheme, private rooms have been created in many hospitals which have attached bath and many other facilities. Not only this, Ayushman Mitra has also been deployed to look after these women. Apart from this, medical nurses are also engaged in serving the women giving birth 24 hours a day.
Earlier admission was done in common ward
Earlier, in many hospitals of the country including UP, Ayushman card holders were admitted along with common patients, but now pregnant women with Ayushman cards are not admitted together in the same ward. However, there are different facilities in different hospitals for other patients with Ayushman card.
