Treatment cannot be done in every hospital
To avail the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme launched by the government, the Ayushman card holder cannot go to any big hospital of his choice and get treatment. Ayushman card holder can get treatment by going to those hospitals only. Which are listed under this scheme. For example, if there is a big hospital in your city. But it is not in the list of hospitals listed under Ayushman Bharat scheme. Then even after having Ayushman card, you will not be able to avail the benefits of Ayushman Bharat scheme in that hospital. In which hospitals treatment can be done under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. These diseases can’t even be treated
Just as the benefits of Ayushman Bharat Yojana can be availed only in listed hospitals. Similarly, you cannot get treatment for all diseases. This year, the government has removed 196 diseases from the list of treatment under Ayushman Bharat scheme in private hospitals. Earlier, a total of 1760 diseases were treated under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. But now 196 of these diseases will not be treated. Which include diseases like malaria, cataract, gangrene.
