Baal Aadhaar Card: Bal Aadhaar is the Aadhaar card of children. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made it mandatory for children in the age group of five to 15 years to update biometric information in Aadhaar data. In a recent tweet, UIDAI announced that it is now mandatory to update biometric details of children in the age group of 5-15 years. Its process is free. However, after updating the biometric details, there will be no change in the child’s Aadhaar number. UIDAI advised parents to visit their nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center to update their child’s details.
