Baba Siddique Murder Case Update: A shocking revelation has come to light in the murder case of former Maharashtra minister and veteran NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. Lawrence Bishnoi gang is suspected to have Naxal connections. Giving information, Mumbai Police sources said that the three accused arrested in this case, Gaurav Apune, Rupesh Mohol and Shubham Lonkar, had gone from Pune to Jharkhand to practice firing.
According to the information, accused Gaurav told that he had gone to Naxal affected area of Jharkhand, where someone had given him AK-47. Police said that all three had practiced firing with this AK-47. A senior officer said that it is a very serious matter that if Lawrence Gang and Naxal are working together then we are investigating it from this angle also.

An officer said that this is an area which is Naxal affected and it is very unusual to practice firing with advanced weapon (AK-47) in this way. For this reason, we are now investigating this angle also. Do they have any connection with Naxalites or are any Naxalites helping them or is there someone else apart from them?
18 arrested so far in Baba Siddiqui’s murder case
Investigation into the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui is ongoing. Police arrested two more people on Thursday (7 November). So far 18 people have been arrested in this murder case. The official said that Aditya Gulnkar (22) and Rafiq Niaz Shaikh (22), residents of Karvenagar area of Pune city, were detained. According to the police, one of the alleged conspirators, Praveen Lonkar, was in touch with another accused, Rupesh Mohol.
Let us tell you that Lonkar and Mohol have already been arrested. Both of them had allegedly handed over a 9 mm pistol along with ammunition to Gulnakar and Shaikh, which was to be used in the crime. The pistol was recovered during the investigation, while efforts are on to trace the ammunition. It is noteworthy that former Maharashtra minister Siddiqui was shot dead in Bandra area of Mumbai on October 12.
