Baba Vishwanath Dham is setting new records every day. Where a record was made for the highest number of devotees visiting in the month of March. At the same time, there has been a record increase in the income of Baba Vishwanath in March itself. There was an income of Rs 11.14 crore in March this year. Last year, the earning in July i.e. Sawan has also increased to more than three lakh rupees.
According to the temple administration, Rs 3.69 crore was received in Hundi offerings in March this year. Whereas last year this figure was 2.81 crores. At the same time, in July 2023, Rs 2.08 crore were offered in Hundi. Rs 7.13 crore were donated through banks and online channels in March this year.
Whereas last year this figure was 3.90 crores. Income from other sources in March was Rs 31.39 lakh. Whereas in March 2023, Rs 59.66 lakh was received from other sources. At the same time, in July 2023, the temple received an income of Rs 81.99 lakh from other sources.
After the Mahakal Temple incident, a fire safety report is being prepared in Vishwanath Dham.
On the other hand, 12 people got burnt in the fire that broke out in Ujjain Mahakal temple recently. Of these, 9 were in critical condition. Keeping this in mind, the fire department team inspected Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple on Tuesday.
