According to the report of South China Morning Post, a man with surname Ku, living in Jiajiang County, met a girl with surname Shen online. Shen worked in pharma sales while Ku was an anesthesiologist. Their relationship was going on since the year 2022 and Shane often asked him for anesthesia i.e. propofol so that she could sleep after taking the injection. One day, even in the hotel, he asked her to give him a dose of anesthesia. On March 6, Koo gave 20 doses to his girlfriend Shen between 11 pm and 5 am.

About 1300 mg of propofol had entered the girl’s body in 20 doses, while he had given her 100 mg of propofol to inject himself later. When Koo returned, he saw that Shen was dead and the medical examination revealed that she had died due to an overdose of propofol. Ku himself reported this matter to the police and gave compensation of Rs 46 lakh 42 thousand to Shen’s family and also apologized to them for the mistake.
