After continuously being in the Yellow Zone, the air of the city has now moved towards the Orange Zone. The level of pollution has increased so much that the amount of dust particles is highest in the morning and evening air. The most polluted area in the city is Maldahiya and it has reached the edge of the Orange Zone.
The air quality index of Maldahiya was recorded at 199 in the morning and 175 in the evening on Sunday. According to the data of CPCB’s Sameer App, the air quality index of Maldahiya was 175 at 9 pm on Sunday night. In this, the maximum amount of PM 2.5 was 333, the maximum amount of PM 10 was 164, the maximum amount of carbon was 144 and the maximum amount of sulfur was 27.
Maldahiya’s AQI was recorded at 199 at 9 am. In this, the maximum amount of PM 2.5 was 309, the amount of PM 10 was 139, the amount of carbon was 144 and the amount of sulfur was 34. Bhelupur’s AQI was recorded at 146. The maximum quantity of PM 2.5 was 279, the maximum quantity of PM 10 was 233, the maximum quantity of carbon was 120, the maximum quantity of sulfur was 38.
