Pandit Dhirendra Shastri Padyatra: Peethadhishwar Pandit Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham is once again in the news. This time the reason is not his story, but his march which he is starting from today (21 November 2024). This march named Hindu Unity will start from Bageshwar Dham and will conclude at Orchha.
Thousands of devotees and supporters following Pandit Dhirendra Shastri to participate in this padyatra had reached Bageshwar Dham a day before. Addressing these people, Pandit Dhirendra Shastri said on Wednesday night (20 November 2024) that we all have to be united.
‘This is the boil of devotion for Bajrangbali’
Speaking to Aaj Tak before the padyatra, Dhirendra Shastri said that Hindus are being tortured and there is a need to take to the streets to stop it. Regarding the crowd that came for the padyatra, he said, “This is the boil of devotion of Bajrangwali devotees, this is the boil of awakening of Hindus. We have faith in the blessings of Bajrangbali.”
‘Atrocities will stop if we take to the streets’
He further said, “Today our trust in Hindus is also increasing, when one day Hindus will take to the streets in one voice against the religious opponents, then on the same day the atrocities on Hindus will stop in this country.”
Big thing said about Waqf Board
Dhirendra Shastri did not stop here, he further said that Hindus are being tortured. Till 2005, Waqf had only a few hundred acres of land, but today it has eight and a half lakh acres of land. They are already staking their claim on the Parliament and will stake their claim here also tomorrow.
Gave this answer on the question of marriage
He further said, “The daughters of many people who participated in this yatra were taken away in the name of love jihad, they all come to us crying. That is why we resolved to unite the Hindus. The population of Hindus is decreasing and This is a matter of increasing concern for us and we are getting married soon.
Will unite Hindus and eliminate caste differences
He said that this is not the crowd that came for the yatra. Are members of our family. This fair is held daily at Bageshwar Dham. If you come on Saturday and Tuesday, you will say that there is a lot of madness here. Emphasizing once again on the slogan Batenge to Katenge, he said that if we divide among castes, we will definitely get cut, that is why we have taken a pledge to unite the Hindus. I have taken a vow to eradicate casteism.

Dhirendra Shastri will end his Hindu Ekta Padyatra on 29th November. In these 9 days, he will cover a distance of about 160 km and on the way he will stop and talk to people and convince them to stay united. Thousands of his devotees will also accompany him. He will walk 20 km daily.
