Cow has been given special importance in the scriptures. Cow has the status of a mother. Women who worship cow get the happiness of children and the troubles coming to the children are also destroyed. According to the mythological story, once Shri Krishna appeared in front of Bahula cow in the form of a lion, she got ready to sacrifice her life, she told the lion that after feeding milk to her child, she will become his food. Seeing the affection of the cow towards the calf, the lion let her go, as promised, the cow did her work and came in front of the lion.
Lord Krishna was pleased to see Bahula’s devotion and commitment and he blessed Bahula that in Kali Yuga, whoever worships her, his children will always be happy and safe.
