According to the report of Dhaka Tribune, Chouddagram Police has confirmed the incident. In the video, a group of 10-12 people are seen surrounding Abdul Kanu and forcefully garlanding him with shoes. Apart from this, the people of the group are seen threatening them to vacate their house and leave the area.

Awami League called the video insulting
Reacting to the video going viral on social media, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League has called it a humiliating incident. The party said that this is a direct attack on the dignity and history of Bangladesh.
