In Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, farmer brothers married their daughters with great fanfare to fulfill their mother’s wish. The marriage rituals of both the daughters were completed on Thursday night. The brides were seen off by helicopter on Friday morning. For this, the farmer’s family had already taken permission to land the helicopter in their farm, but this enthusiasm faded in the in-laws’ house when the helicopter carrying the brides was not allowed to land. Due to this the bride and groom left for Delhi by helicopter.
Priyanka, daughter of farmer Rajendra Singh Yadav of village Dohna Pitamarai in Bhojipura area, and Preeti, daughter of his younger brother Ramdas alias Nanhe Yadav, are married to their cousins, residents of Haldi Khurd village in Mirganj. Rajendra Singh Yadav told that it was the wish of his 70-year-old mother Premvati that both the daughters should be seen off by helicopter.

Ramdas told that both the sons-in-law are cousins. At around 10 am, the helicopter landed in Rajendra Singh Yadav’s farm. Thousands of people gathered to watch the bride’s departure from the helicopter.
The farmer’s family saw off the bride and groom by helicopter, but permission was not given to land the helicopter at the daughters’ in-laws’ place in Mirganj. People kept on making arrangements here.
The helicopter has been taken to Delhi after it was denied permission to land. Now the bride and groom will come from there in a car to Haldi Khurd village of Mirganj. The in-laws are waiting for the brides.
