Expansion

The wait for primary and upper primary teachers wishing to be transferred within the district is about to end. The government has given permission for this. The further process is expected to begin with applications being taken in a week during the winter break. The proposal for transfer in the session 2024-25 was sent to the government by the Secretary of the Basic Education Council. Proposals for transfer within and outside the district were sent by the Council.

In this sequence, the government issued an order on Friday allowing inter-district transfers. Along with this, transfer policy has also been issued. It has been said in the order that transfers will take place only during winter vacation and summer vacation. Winter vacation is going to start from 31st December.

In such a situation, the process is said to start in a week. For this, online applications will have to be made within the prescribed date. Applications will have to be made on the website developed by NIC. Apart from this, the printed copy of the application will also have to be submitted to the District Basic Education Officer office within 15 days.
