In Varanasi, candidates gathered at various centres for the B.Ed entrance exam. During the exam, preparations were also completed at the Cantt Roadways Bus Station. Additional buses were run on every route for the candidates.
Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth has been made the nodal university for conducting the Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination 2024. Apart from Varanasi, four other districts Chandauli, Sant Ravidas Nagar (Bhadohi), Mirzapur and Sonbhadra have been allotted under Kashi Vidyapeeth.
Uttar Pradesh Joint B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 is being held on Sunday at 71 examination centers in five districts. 35755 candidates from Varanasi, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra appeared in it. In Banaras alone, 26852 candidates appeared for the examination at 52 centers.
Mid term exam will be held till 18th in Kashi Vidyapeeth
The undergraduate students of Philosophy subject of session 2023-24 in the Department of Philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth have got another chance to give the missed mid-term examination. Head of the Department Prof. Rajesh Kumar Mishra said that those students who have missed the mid-term examination of Philosophy (Major / Minor) can appear in the examination by appearing in the department till June 18. It has started from June 8.
