Former JNU student leader Umar Khalid, accused in the case related to Delhi riots, has got a big relief from Karkardooma Court today. The court granted him interim bail of seven days, which will be effective from December 28 to January 3.
Umar Khalid had asked for this bail to attend the marriage of his cousin brother and sister. He had filed a petition for interim bail of 10 days, but the court granted him bail of seven days. He has got great relief from this decision.

Umar Khalid has always been a part of movements and protests. Despite the charges against him in the Delhi riots case, he remains a militant leader among his supporters.
