In Begusarai, Bihar, miscreants once again demanded extortion of Rs 5 lakh. Seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred all the injured to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for treatment. The incident took place near Chhoti Ballia Patel Chowk of Ballia police station area.
According to the information, all the injured people have been identified as Kamal Kishore Das, wife Madhu Kumari and son Krishna Kumar, residents of Chhoti Ballia Patel Chowk. Injured Kamal Kishore Das told that the miscreants had entered the house and demanded extortion of Rs 5 lakh. For not paying the extortion money, my entire family was beaten with sticks, rods and iron rods and seriously injured.
Victim Kishore Das told that a few days ago he had purchased a land near Ballia Patel Chowk. After purchasing that land, the miscreants were continuously demanding extortion money of Rs 5 lakh. They were continuously threatening to kill if extortion money was not paid. He further told that suddenly seven miscreants barged into the house and demanded extortion of Rs 5 lakh. When we refused to pay the extortion money, all the miscreants got angry and attacked us.
At present, the victim’s family informed the Ballia police station about this incident. After the information, police reached the spot and sent all the injured to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for treatment. At the same time, in relation to this incident, the in-charge of Ballia police station has said that a case of assault has come to light at Chhoti Ballia Patel Chowk. At present the police is investigating the entire matter.
