A tractor driver died under suspicious circumstances in Begusarai, Bihar. After this incident, sensation has spread in the area. On receiving the news, there was chaos among the family members of the deceased. After this, angry people blocked the road by placing the body on the road to protest against the police administration. This incident took place near Dumri in Singhaul police station area. The deceased has been identified as Chandan Kumar, son of Karilal Rai, resident of Khatopur Ayodhyabari in Lakhan police station area.
Family members said that Chandan Kumar has been driving a tractor for the past one year. Last night someone called him from home and took him away. This morning when he was returning from Ramdiri with white sand loaded on the tractor, someone brutally murdered Chandan Kumar on the way. They said that the criminals killed him by burying his head in the sand. Chandan Kumar was murdered due to illegal mining of sand.
At present, the local people informed the Singhaul police station about this incident. The Singhaul police station reached the spot, took the body in its custody and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem. At present, the police is engaged in further action. Now the cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report comes.
Here, people angry with the death of the tractor driver started a ruckus against the police administration by placing the body on NH 31 at Khatopur in Lakhan Thana area and blocking it. Due to the NH 31 being jammed, a long queue of vehicles has formed. People are facing a lot of problems in commuting. On receiving the information, Lakhan Thana Police and Mufassil Thana Police reached the spot and started convincing the people. People say that the road will remain blocked until the murderers are arrested.
During this, Sadar Video Sudama Prasad said that people angry with the murder have blocked the road. At present, efforts are being made to remove the road blockage. Also, the cause of death is being investigated. It is worth mentioning that even before this, a tractor driver was brutally beaten to death in illegal mining in Paan Gaachi of Mufassil police station area and the body was hidden by filling sand in a pit.
