Bengaluru Murder Case: After the Shraddha murder case of Delhi, a similar case has also come to light in Bengaluru. Like Shraddha, the live in partner has killed a 23 year old girl. A 26-year-old Nepalese national has been arrested for allegedly lynching his female partner living in a ‘live-in relationship’ in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru.
Police sources said that Santosh Dhami has been arrested for the murder of 23-year-old Krishna Kumari Ammai in TC Palia area on Tuesday (November 29) night. Police sources said that Ammai was also a Nepali citizen and had come to Bengaluru two years ago. According to the police, the deceased used to work in a salon. He told that for the last one year Ammai was living with Dhami in a ‘live-in relationship’. Dhami is also a Nepali citizen and used to work in a men’s salon. Police claimed that Dhami suspected that Ammai was having an affair with another man, which enraged him to commit the crime.
What is Shraddha murder case?
Aftab Poonawalla is accused of killing his ‘live-in partner’ Shraddha Walkar and dismembering her body into 35 pieces. He kept the body parts in a 300-litre fridge at his home in south Delhi’s Mehrauli for about three weeks and then threw them at various places in the city over several nights. Aftab is in police jail. Meanwhile, new revelations are happening every day.
Police arrested Poonawalla on 12 November, after which he was sent to police custody for five days, police custody was extended for five days on 17 November. On November 22, the court again sent Poonawalla to police custody for four days and then on November 26 sent him to jail for 13 days judicial custody.
