Bengaluru: On the night of Diwali, on October 31, a tragic incident came to light in Weavers Colony, Konankunte, Bengaluru. In this incident, a 32-year-old youth named Sabari died. Accepting the challenge given by her friends, Sabri decided to sit on a burning firecracker. On completing this challenge he was promised an auto-rickshaw.
This dangerous step of Sabri was captured by the CCTV camera installed at her neighbor’s house. In the video, Sabari is shown sitting on a container-like object in which firecrackers were kept. The firecracker was lit by his friend Naveen. About six friends were present there at the time of the incident, including Naveen (26), who himself owns an auto-rickshaw.
