A married woman died under suspicious circumstances on Monday in Bettiah, Bihar. This incident took place in Mangalpur village of Sikta police station area of the district. At the same time, the deceased has been identified as Reena Devi (22), wife of Abhimanyu Patel. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it to GMCH Bettiah for post-mortem. At present the police is busy investigating the matter.
According to the information, the dead body of the married woman was found hanging from the fan in Mangalpur village on Sunday midnight. The villagers informed the police about the matter. Police Station Head Raj Roshan said that the police team led by SI Amarjeet Kumar Pathak was on night patrol. Meanwhile, at around 12 o’clock in the night, information was received from the house of Mangalpur resident Ayodhya Patel that a married woman had hanged herself from the fan. When the patrol team reached the spot on information, the married woman was found hanging from the fan with the help of her dupatta. He had died.
Police Station Head Raj Roshan said that the deceased is the daughter of Mahendra Patel, resident of Maheshda of Gopalpur police station area. He got married about two years ago. The causes of death have not been revealed yet. The police station chief said that no application has been received yet. Further action will be taken upon receipt of the application.
