There was a head-on collision between a Bolero car and a tractor-trolley filled with wedding processions in Bettiah, Bihar. In this, a wedding guest died on the spot. While six other people were seriously injured. All the injured have been admitted to GMCH Bettiah for treatment. While the family members have taken one to Gorakhpur. Where everyone is being treated. However, the condition of three injured remains critical. The incident took place near Barwachap Pax warehouse located on Kaithwalia-Lohiriya main road under Chanpatia police station area of the district.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Mukesh Kumar Dubey (28), son of Bolero driver Anand Dubey, resident of Jabdaul village of Kumarbagh police station area. While the injured were identified as Akbali Prasad (60), son of late Vishun Mahato, resident of Mahuavar village of Kumarbagh police station area, Sheshnath Sah (65), son of late Bhola Shah, Shatrughan Prasad (55), son of late Rampreet Mahato, Satyendra Kumar, son of Manilal Sharma. (25), Vikau Yadav’s son Virendra Yadav (25) and Nakharath Pandit (45).
The family members of injured Shatrughan Prasad said that Shatrughan’s condition is critical. The doctors referred him to Patna, so we are taking him to Gorakhpur. Meanwhile, five other people are undergoing treatment at GMCH.
According to the information, the Bolero car filled with wedding processions was going from Lohiria towards Kaithwalia. Meanwhile, there was a head-on collision with a tractor-trolley carrying tent goods. After this, the uncontrolled Bolero overturned into a pit, breaking an electric pole. Due to this, the car driver died, while six wedding guests were seriously injured. However, the villagers straightened the car and took the injured out of the car. After this the police was informed about the incident. Police reached the information and admitted all the injured to CHC Chanpatia for first aid. Seeing the critical condition of three people, the doctor referred them to GMCH after first aid.
It is being told that everyone was going by car to Duboulia of Lauria police station area for the wedding of Satish Kumar, son of Vijay Prasad Kushwaha, resident of Mahuavar village of Kumarbagh police station area of Bettiah. Here, the police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and started investigating the matter.
