A fire broke out while cooking in Sedha Tola village located in Chaumukha Panchayat of Yogapatti police station area of Bettiah. In this accident, seven houses were completely burnt to ashes. While while extinguishing the fire, the owner of a house, Dina Yadav, got seriously burnt and is being treated locally. It is being told that this accident happened when a fire suddenly broke out in Dina Yadav’s house while she was cooking and spread rapidly. Due to this, the houses of Lalbchan Yadav, Jagarnath Yadav, Duryodhan Yadav, Anand Yadav, Subhash Yadav and Surendra Yadav also got caught in the fire.
According to the information, in this fire incident, clothes, ration, utensils and other items were burnt to ashes. Due to this, there has been a loss of property worth about Rs 12 lakh. The victims said that the fire spread so fast that they could not save anything from their homes.
At the same time, as soon as the news of the fire was received, the local people immediately reached the spot for help. Along with this, the fire department team also brought the fire under control after a lot of effort. However, by then all the contents of the house had been burnt. On receiving information about the fire, police and circle officer also reached the spot.
Circle Officer Pragya Nayanam said that complete information about the incident has been received. A report is being prepared by the staff to help the victims. Relief material will soon be distributed to the affected families. This fire has created an atmosphere of mourning in the village. The victim’s families are now hoping for help from the administration.
