Actually the approach road has to pass through the forest of Vandevi Dham, due to which after the construction of the bridge, the forest department raised objections and stopped the work, after which the implementing agency built an approach road to connect the bridge to the other part i.e. Ghazipur district. But the approach road of the Mau district part is still incomplete due to objections. In such a situation, even after the construction of this bridge, it is proving to be useless for the last decade.

The mythological place Maa Vandevi Dham Mandir is situated 15 kilometers away from the district headquarters on the Mau-Ghazipur border. People from various states including Purvanchal come here to worship.
