India begins second phase of retail sale of flour and rice

Let us tell you that Food Minister Prahlad Joshi had started the second phase of retail sale of Bharat Rice and Bharat Flour on Tuesday (6 November). Under this, he had initially dispatched mobile vans of NCCF, NAFAD and Kendriya Bhandar loaded with 3.69 lakh tonnes of wheat and 2.91 tonnes of rice. He said that the Modi government at the Center is fully committed to providing essential food items to the people of the country at low prices.

In India flour and rice have become so expensive

It is worth noting that the Central Government has started the second phase of Bharat Atta and Bharat Rice, but has also increased its price. Actually, in the second phase, Bharat flour will be available at Rs 30 per kg and Bharat rice at Rs 34 per kg. In the first phase, Bharat flour was sold at the price of Rs 27.50 per kg and rice at the rate of Rs 30 per kg.

Where to get Bharat Flour and Bharat Rice?

Now the question arises that how can Bharat Flour and Bharat Rice be purchased? Actually, both these things can be purchased from Kendriya Bhandar, NAFED and NCCF stores and mobile vans. Apart from this, both these things can also be purchased from e-commerce platforms and big retail chain retailers. It is worth noting that in the first phase, about 15.20 lakh tonnes of Bharat flour and 14.58 lakh tonnes of Bharat rice were sold.
