Bharat Jodo Yatra Congress General Secretary Kc Venugopal Tells About Rahul Gandhi Knee Pain


Rahul Gandhi Knee Pain: Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress has been completed by moving from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu to Kashmir. Through Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress is trying to get back its lost political ground in the country. This yatra is being discussed a lot across the country, but MP Rahul Gandhi was about to leave the yatra in the very beginning. Gandhi was about to hand over the command of Bharat Jodo Yatra to another Congress leader.

This disclosure has been made by Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal. Venugopal told that at the very beginning of the yatra, Rahul Gandhi had a very serious knee problem, due to which he had to leave the yatra in the middle. Rahul Gandhi talked about his knee problem in Kashmir during the conclusion of the yatra.

Gandhi’s knee pain increased – Venugopal

All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary KC Venugopal said that on the third day after the start of the yatra from Kanyakumari, when the yatra was entering Kerala, Gandhi’s knee pain increased. He also called Venugopal late at night to tell him about the seriousness of his knee pain. After this, Priyanka Gandhi’s call came in this connection. He also thought of suggesting handing over the campaign to other senior leaders as there was such a huge journey ahead to complete.

He told that without Rahul Gandhi, the yatra was unimaginable for Congress workers and leaders. However, Rahul Gandhi’s knee pain got cured with physiotherapy. The Bharat Jodo Yatra covered a distance of more than 4,000 kilometers in 136 days in 75 districts, 12 states and 2 union territories.
