Former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee has also tasted Ras Madhuri.
It takes hours to make any sweet dish, but it takes two days to make Nagaur’s Ras Madhuri. After which Ras Madhuri is ready. Milk is used to make Ras Madhuri. Actually the milk is curdled and molded into cheese-like balls. After that it is kept in syrup. After keeping it for 24 hours it is cut into square sizes. After that rabri is made from milk. Milk is boiled for hours and then rabri is ready.

In making Rabdi, apart from milk, sugar, saffron and pistachios are added and Rasmadhuri is prepared by putting square pieces of Madhuri in that Rabdi. In this way, after passing the process of two days, Ras Madhuri is prepared. Vikram Singh, manager of Chetan Prakash Sweets, says that Ras Madhuri is the most famous sweet of Nagaur. The taste of the juice made here is sweet and nowhere else is it made like this. People take this Ras Madhuri with them in the country and abroad because it does not spoil for many days.
The rate is also negligible
The taste of Nagaur’s Ras Madhuri can be gauged from the fact that the former Prime Minister of India has tasted Ras Madhuri. Many times it is said that he has mentioned Ras Madhuri in his speech. Talking about the price of Ras Madhuri, the price of high quality Madhuri is sold up to Rs 440 per kg, whereas in different sweet stores it is sold up to Rs 350 or 400 per kg.
