My brothers and sisters had to work in factories. He used to carry heavy blankets. Used to sew them. Sometimes my mother also sewed dupattas. I still hate the smell of those blankets and the sound of that machine. I have seen a lot of poverty and don’t want to see it again.

Bharti had told that she had seen so much poverty that she was ready to eat apples even after picking them from the garbage heap. Bharti’s mother used to sweep people’s houses. Bharti had told- Those people in whose houses my mother worked used to give her the leftover vegetables. I and my brothers and sisters used to eat that.
Let us tell you that Bharti came out of the struggling phase and achieved success. She was the second runner up in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. His character Lalli got a lot of name and fame. There are reports that she now charges Rs 10-12 lakh for an episode. His net worth is said to be around Rs 23 crore.
